Party Time

This summer party pack from the Ekokids is the perfect reason not to discard those knitting needles just yet!

The Ekokids' Party Pack contains patterns for:

A Long skirt
Flared Trousers
Dancing Dress
A shawl
Summer Vest
Crop Top
Shopping Bag
A Headband
and some flowers..

all designed specifically for your Ekokid doll. Patterns are simple enough for beginner knitters and can be made from small  amounts of yarn. Some of the patterns in this book I made from random lengths of different colours, which worked surprisingly well!

If you can cast on, cast off, knit and purl stitches, you can make these delightful clothes and accessories with scraps of yarn and a little quality time.

Please note this book doesn't include the pattern for a basic Ekokid doll. If you haven't grabbed the pattern yet.. this is the ISBN number B00BVPDW4O ('How to Make a Doll: The Ekokids')

Happy Medium

The final results of any craft project depend on many aspects. Different yarns - even if they all claim to be of a specific weight - e.g. double knitting - can produce different results due to manufacturing techniques, age of yarn, etc;

Also, tighter knitting will have different results to looser knitting - a happy medium is best!

When you make your Ekokid doll, the more filling you use, the fatter the doll will be - if it's too fat or too thin, the clothes patterns may need adjusting - again, go for a healthy mid-weight filling.

Check out all the Kindle Ekokid patterns on the Pattern Books page (menu above) and watch out for new patterns as they appear :-)

'Party pack' coming soon.

Happy Knitting!
